3 Varieties of Budgies

Are you ready for Life with a Budgie? 

Budgies are easy keepers--however, even they have some demands:

• Do you have 40 minutes a day (or more, of course) to spend with your Budgie?

• Do you have a nice roomy cage--Ask for one that is "Cockatiel size"--but with half inch width between bars. The cage should have several perches of varying sizes.

• Do you have a good place in your home for the cage? Someplace where your bird can be around you and your family?

• Do you have plenty of toys to keep your bird busy while you are not around?

• Are you willing to provide fresh food and water to your bird daily?

• Do you have someone to take care of your Budgie when you are on vacation?

• Do you know where to find an Avian vet?

• Do you have the patience and understanding to deal with your bird when he/she goes through behavioral changes due to the breeding season?
